Indiana Public Schools Work is part of a public information and awareness campaign to inform taxpayers, parents, legislators, and business leaders on the truth about public education in Central Indiana.
A coalition of 18 Central Indiana school superintendents and districts endorses this interactive website.
Each day, our schools teach, tutor, feed, counsel, provide before- and after-school care, and safely transport more than 180,000 K-12 Central Indiana students.
We know firsthand the changes and challenges facing public education. We know there is a growing gap between what students need and schools can provide. And we are responding by innovating, providing more alternatives, and creating greater efficiencies and cost-savings. We know the stakes have never been higher for student success, access, and achievement.
